Nut Ring


    • 150 grams all-purpose flour
    • 50 grams powder sugar
    • 50 grams walnut
    • 100 grams margarine
    • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
    • 2-3 tbsp. milk

For the Icing:

    • 1-cup icing sugar
    • 2 tbsp. warm water
    • 20 to 25 cherries


Shift all-purpose flour.

Beat margarine and mix sugar and beat till smooth and fluffy. Mix all-purpose flour mixture and walnut powder and vanilla extract and beat the mixture. Knead the flour to roti-like, if necessary add milk. Divide it into 20-25 parts. Roll each part into long rings and make them round (like bangle). Greased and dust oven tray. Keep the rings in the tray, as such that they are 2 inches apart. Leave the contents for 1/2 hour. Bake them in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 375 degree F.

Dissolve icing sugar by mixing with a little water. Make paste. Apply the paste on the rings.
