Methi Ladoo


    • 100 grams fenugreek powder (methi)
    • 250 grams wheat flour
    • 100 grams dry powder
    • 50 grams peeper root powder
    • 100 grams almond powder
    • 1 tbsp. Cardamom powder
    • 1 tbsp. Nutmeg powder
    • 250 grams brown sugar
    • 3/4 kilo ghee
    • 50 grams poppy seeds
    • 1 dry coconut
    • 1 dry coconut, grated


In a frying pan take ghee. Add wheat flour and roast till redplate brown. Ghee should be sufficient while roasting. Remove from the heat. Add fenugreek powder, almond powder, and cardamom and nutmeg powder and poppy seeds. Mix well.

in another frying pan melt ghee and brown sugar. When brown sugar dissolves and 1-2 bubbles come remove and add dry powder, pepper root powder. Mix well. Now slowly add wheat mixture. Mix well and make small ladus.

Note: this ladu can be given to pregnant ladies during their 7th – 8th month. Can be taken for back pains.
