Green Tur Dal Dhebara
- 500 grams green tur dal seeds (fresh)
- 500 grams wheat flour
- 200 grams millet flour (baajri)
- 3 tbsp. green masala
- 1/2-tsp. Turmeric powder
- 2-tsp. plain yogurt
Grind green tur seeds in a mixture to a paste. Shift both flours. Add turmeric powder, chili powder, green masala paste, oil and salt. Knead the dough with plain yogurt and water.
Roll into thick tortillas with light hands. Deep fry in the warm oil. Serve with plain yogurt and chutney.
Note: Tur dal seeds can be replaced with fresh peas or fresh garbanzos.
