Goondh Ki Raab
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 tbsp. fine edible gum crystals
- 1 tsp. ghee
- 1 tbsp. sugar or to taste
- 1 tsp. almonds pound coarsely
- 1/4 tsp. dessicated coconut grated
- 1/4 tsp. pistachios pound coarsely
- 1/4 tsp. cardamom powder
- 2 cups water
METHOD :
- Heat ghee in pan, add gum crystals.
- When fully popped, add water, mix well till dissolved.
- Bring to a boil, simmer add all other ingredients.
- Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Serve hot as a soup.
- Very good on cold mornings after a fast.
Serve cooled.
Making time: 10 minutes
Makes: 2 cups
