INGREDIENTS:

200 grams urad dal

500 grams rice, green chilies      salt

oil      1-cup coriander leaves.

 

 

PREPARATION:

Soak rice and urad dal separately in water overnight. Grind them separately. Mix and make soft batter. Keep it covered for 8 hours. Add fenugreek seeds paste, salt, green chilies chopped and coriander leaves.

Heat a griddle. Sprinkle water. Keep the heat medium low. Pour 1-2-tsp. full of the batter and quickly spread into a thick pancake. Add oil. Fry on both the sides. Serve with coconut chutney and sambhar.
