SAFFRON SWEET RICE


 

INGREDIENTS:

 

250 grams basmati rice      150 grams ghee

150 grams sugar      4 grams saffron

15-20 raisins      6-8 cardamom powder.

 

 

PREPARATION:

 

Wash and soak Basmati rice for ˝ hour.

Melt ghee in a pot. Sauté the rice and raisins. Add boiled water. Cook the rice. When the rice is fully cooked, add saffron mixed with milk. Mix sugar. When sugar is mixed add cardamom powder. Serve warm.
