For the Pizza:

2-cups all-purpose flour      1-tsp. dry yeast

1-tsp. lemon juice      1-tsp. sugar

1/4 tsp. baking powder      1-tbsp. ghee


For the gravy:

500 grams tomatoes      2-tbsp. oil

1-tbsp. corn flour      1-tsp. Sugar



For the Topping:

1 bell pepper      3/4 cup cheese

1-tsp. Butter      1-tbsp. Oil


To prepare Pizza:

In 3/4 cup of lukewarm water sprinkle yeast, add sugar, cover and keep for 10 minutes. When frothy mix lime juice and keep aside. Shift the flour, add backing powder, ghee and salt. Mix well. Add yeast water. Knead the dough. Cover and keep aside for 30 minutes. When double in volume, knead once again and use.


For the gravy: Heat oil in a pot. Add corn flour to boiling water. Add salt, chili powder and sugar. Cook tomatoes in this boiling water for 2 minutes. Remove the skin. Blend in a mixture to make the smooth gravy.

For the Pizza Topping: Knead the dough again and roll out into 11-inch diameter, thick pizza crust. Grease a tray with the oil. Place the rolled out pizza on the tray. Press lightly from all sides. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 F.Remove from the oven, spread the prepared gravy on the pizza crust and sprinkle bell pepper rings. Spread grated cheese over it. Sprinkle butter and bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 F. Remove and cut into 8 wedges and serve.
