GREEN CORN SEEDS CURRY


 

INGREDIENTS:

2 corn cobs      1-tsp. green chili paste

1-tsp. black masala      1-tsp. red chili powder

1-tsp. turmeric powder

1-tsp. coriander seeds powdered      2 tomatoes

ghee      ╝ cup coriander leaves

8-9 cashew-nuts

 

 

PREPARATION:

Cut corncobs into half and boil in a pressure cooker. Remove boiled corn seeds. In a frying pan melt ghee. SautÚ green chili add black masala, red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder, coriander seed powder and tomatoes. Cook to make the gravy. Add boiled corn seeds and cashew-nuts. You can add cream also. Serve warm.

 

CORN PAPER DOSA

 

INGREDIENTS:

100 grams urad dal flour      100 grams corn cobs

2 green chili      50 grams plain yogurt

salt      tomato sauce

oil

 

 

PREPARATION:

Grate corn or grind corn seeds. Grind chilies with it. Add grams flour, salt, plain yogurt and warm water to form into a liquid batter.

Spread oil on the griddle and spread batter like paper dosa. Fry on both the sides until crispy.

Serve warm with the chutney and tomato sauce.
