Goondh Ki Raab

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 tbsp. fine edible gum crystals
  • 1 tsp. ghee
  • 1 tbsp. sugar or to taste
  • 1 tsp. almonds pound coarsely
  • 1/4 tsp. dessicated coconut grated
  • 1/4 tsp. pistachios pound coarsely
  • 1/4 tsp. cardamom powder
  • 2 cups water

METHOD :

  1. Heat ghee in pan, add gum crystals.
  2. When fully popped, add water, mix well till dissolved.
  3. Bring to a boil, simmer add all other ingredients.
  4. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Serve hot as a soup.
  6. Very good on cold mornings after a fast.

Serve cooled.

Making time: 10 minutes
Makes: 2 cups
